CHILDHOOD LIVING

…childhood living is easy to do…

I have been documenting and capturing images of my son since day 1. I love being able to see and capture the beautiful things in all the activities we do as a family in our normal little lives. With every session I like to tell a story, our story, his story. I now have an ongoing collection of memories and images that someday he will be proud to show off to his own little family. I like to call them my time keepsakes. Nothing is planned ahead of time and no props are used, unless he insists on having one of his favorite toys accompany him on his adventure. We simply just live, do an activity we love, visit one of our favorite spots, just things we would typically do in our everyday life.

I work with the elements that surround us and use the natural light to my advantage. I still use my photography knowledge and skills to create the best image possible but my end goal with these sessions is to tell a story. For me I want to remember the little in between moments, the ever changing expressions, the giggles and the squeezy hugs.

Discovering and capturing the innocence behind the eyes of each child revealing their own unique, unscripted and original style is something I love. To observe each individual characteristic of what makes every child who they are is the greatest feeling. The art of everyday living has me wanting to share this opportunity with you and your family, showcasing it through childhood living sessions.
Having a location in mind, a favorite place to visit, maybe that little ice cream shop on the corner of your street, somewhere your child is familiar and comfortable with will enhance these sessions to their fullest. These sessions are meant to be unique to your family, fun and relaxing.

Let’s make some time keepsakes for you and your family, something that will always bring back memories and remind you just how easy childhood living really is.

I will be offering these sessions throughout the Summer, concentrating on outdoor locations. Booking space is limited and travel fees may apply. Book now to reserve your spot. Feel free to contact me for further details about childhood living sessions, and let’s start your collection today.
